RAMS – Risk Assessments & Method Statements
Site-specific risk assessments, method statements and safe work procedures, written to be approved by the principal contractor and the client’s safety agent.

Overview
Site-specific risk assessments, method statements and safe work procedures, written to be approved by the principal contractor and the client’s safety agent.
Every work package needs a method statement and risk assessment that match the real scope, location and dates of the work. Generic RAMS get rejected — and work cannot start until they are approved.
CMK Safety Solutions writes RAMS for contractors in Johannesburg, Gauteng and Cape Town using a 5 × 5 risk matrix (initial and residual risk) in line with Construction Regulations 2014, Regulation 9, signed off by an appointed risk assessor.
We track every submission, comment and revision until the RAMS is approved, and re-issue it when the dates, location or scope change.
What you get
- Method statements, risk assessments (HIRA / JSA) and safe work procedures for each work package
- Appointed risk assessor (Construction Regulations 2014, Reg 9(1))
- 5 × 5 risk matrix with initial and residual risk ratings
- Revision control, re-submission and tracking until final approval
- Communication registers so every worker signs that the RAMS was explained
- Fall protection plans where work at height is involved
